Mr. Yeager Class

Introduction:

The goal of this class is to enable students to achieve a mastery of the content and skills necessary to excel on the end of the year test. The following information is to help you succeed in this course.

Reading/Homework:

Students have an ongoing assignment to carefully read and study each unit of study. Homework will be assigned only as need.

Absences:

If you are absent it is YOUR responsibility to obtain notes from a classmate and ask me for my handout given when you were absent. Try to call, text, or a friend and come to class already caught up.

Materials:

It is your RESPONSIBILITY to come to class every day with supplies.
Color pens
Color pencils or Markers
Glue stick or scotch tape
Spiral notebook-with a MINIMUM of 180-200 pages, 8 ½ X 11 in size

Unit cover pages must be listed in the table of contents and highlighted in green by chapters only

Grading:

Notebooks will be collected every chapter. They will be graded on thoroughness, quality, organization, and visual appeal.
Remember to add color.
5 points will be taken off for every page that is not finish per check from beginning of the year.
Thirty percent of your grade for the course will be based on the Interactive Notebook Spiral, 45 percent on quizzes,
homework, and class discussion, and 25 percent on test or project grades.

Rubric:
1. Color is used
2. Table of Contents is up to date, highlighted, and page numbers are listed
3. Material is in order, attached neatly, titled and dated
4. Work assigned is completed and was glued or taped into the notebook
5. The work is stamped for being on time
